Character and identity
At the southern, quieter end of the Riviera Maya, TRS Yucatan is an adults-only, all-inclusive set within the larger Palladium complex, with mangrove boardwalks, a lagoon, and tropical gardens threading between the villas. The marble lobby sits beneath a soaring palapa roof, and rooms start at a generous 645 square feet. Three pools define the layout: tiered infinity decks at Helios Beach Club, the palm-shaded La Terraza, and the saltwater Las Rocas blending into the rocky coast. Six restaurants, premium bars, butler service and the Mayan-influenced Zentropia spa anchor a polished, VIP-tilted register.
Who's it for
Best for:
Couples and friends groups who want a posh, child-free all-inclusive with serious square footage, butler service and the option to expand into the wider Palladium complex via the Dine Around programme. Travellers who like activity (sinkhole diving, snorkeling, archery, yacht rentals, oceanfront yoga) without paying à la carte will get particular value.
Should look elsewhere:
Anyone whose mental image of the Riviera Maya is powdery white sand outside the room. TRS fronts a dramatic rocky shoreline rather than a beach, so sandy toes require a shuttle ride to the dedicated beach club. Families with kids should book a different Palladium property.
Bottom line
The defining proposition here is breadth: a high-end adults-only base with large rooms, six restaurants and genuinely inclusive extras, plus full run of three neighbouring resorts when you want more buzz. Book if you want range without nickel-and-diming. Splurge on a suite for the butler tier, and accept upfront that the swimming is from pools and rocks, not sand.
